In our cozy, caring environment, children ages 6 weeks to 5 years are encouraged to explore, create, and discover every day. We believe every child is a natural explorer, and through age-appropriate STEAM experiences, caring relationships, personalized attention, and plenty of play, we help little learners build confidence, creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our nurturing approach provides a strong foundation for future success while making every day engaging, meaningful, and fun.
Our Educational Programs
Twos Program: Little Explorers
2.5 years old- 3.5 years old
In a small-group setting, Little Explorers learn through play, discovery, and our engaging STEAM-based curriculum. Children explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
Toddlers Program: Tinker Tots
1 years old- 2.5 years old
Our Toddler Program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where toddlers learn through play, exploration, and discovery. Through our curriculum, hands-on activities, sensory experiences, music, art, storytime, and outdoor play, our toddlers develop language, social, cognitive, and motor skills while building confidence, curiosity, and independence.
Preschool Program: Imagineers
3.5 years old - 5 years old
Every child is born with a natural sense of wonder. Our Imagineers Preschool Program nurtures that curiosity through engaging STEM activities, creative play, early literacy, and collaborative learning. With caring teachers and a joyful classroom, children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning while preparing for kindergarten.
Infants Program: Tiny Sparks
6 weeks - 12 months
We understand the importance of trust during your baby's first year. Our caring educators create a warm, secure environment where infants receive individualized attention, consistent routines, and plenty of opportunities for comfort, connection, and discovery.

STEAM Curriculum
At Absolutely Kids, learning comes to life through our STEAM curriculum—an engaging approach that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into everyday experiences. Through hands-on exploration, creative projects, and purposeful play, children develop curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence while having fun. STEAM learning encourages children to ask questions, investigate ideas, create solutions, and discover how the world works around them.
What STEAM Looks Like in Our Classrooms
Science
Children explore nature, conduct simple experiments, observe patterns, and discover how things work through hands-on investigation.
Technology
Age-appropriate tools and interactive learning experiences help children build digital awareness, sequencing skills, and creative thinking.
Engineering
Building with blocks, designing structures, and solving challenges encourage innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Arts
Painting, music, movement, storytelling, and creative expression help children develop imagination, communication, and fine motor skills.
Mathematics
Counting, sorting, measuring, pattern recognition, and hands-on activities build a strong foundation for future mathematical understanding.

Meet the Owner
Hi! I'm , I am the proud Owner and Operator of Absolutely Kids. I am also the Owner of Blooming Einsteins. Before becoming the Owner of Blooming Einsteins, I served as the center's Director for eight years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Go Niners!) with coursework in Elementary Education, and I hold the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential.
For more than 18 years, I've had the privilege of overseeing the daily operations of after-school and summer camp programs. My previous roles include Director of After School Programs for Union County Public Schools, After School Enrichment Program Coordinator for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Day Camp Coordinator for the YMCA.
I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. I'm honored to partner with your family and look forward to watching your little one bloom each day!
